Tero's website is cookieless. It sets no cookies — none — and loads no advertising, analytics, or third-party trackers. The only data stored on your device is two functional interface preferences, kept locally in your browser and never sent anywhere.
No cookies
Tero's website (tero.legal) sets no cookies of any kind. No page — and no form submission — returns a Set-Cookie header, and the site uses no JavaScript cookie storage (document.cookie). Because nothing here relies on a technology that requires consent, the site shows no cookie banner: there is simply nothing to consent to.
What we store locally
So the interface remembers how you like it, the site keeps two functional preferences in your browser's localStorage:
- tero_lang — the language you chose for the website.
- tero_theme — your choice of light or dark appearance.
These are strictly functional interface preferences. They are not identifiers, they are never used to track you, and they are never transmitted to Tero or anyone else — they stay on your device. Under the ePrivacy Directive, storage strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested does not require consent. You can clear them at any time through your browser's site-data settings; the site will simply return to its defaults (your browser language and system colour scheme).
No tracking
Tero loads no analytics and no third-party trackers — no Google Analytics, no advertising or social-media pixels, no fingerprinting. The only link to a social network is a plain link to our LinkedIn company page in the footer, which sets nothing unless you choose to follow it.
